The Old School House Arts Centre and the Qualicum Beach Museum Society have joined together to invite you to revisit the charming tradition of tea in the afternoon.   Delicate finger sandwiches; tender scones, rich cakes, fancy pastries and the finest teas will be lavishly presented using vintage and antique tableware including delicate teacups, fine linens and silverware. Quiet piano background music playing seasonal tunes will complete the experience. Friday's tea will feature the  Men in Accord Choir and Saturday's tea will feature a vintage fashion show from Merlyn Patten's collection of 50’s and 60’s party wear. 

 The Mid Island Floral Arts Club will create a magical atmosphere with artistically decorated trees that will twinkle with holiday cheer. Imaginative Christmas wreaths designed by the club will be displayed and a silent auction will begin to help fill the stockings of local charities. OPUS Art Supply has donated 50 canvases that have been painted by local artists. These paintings will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to the Food Bank.

 

The Winter Victorian Tea, two sittings daily 1:00 and 3:00 on Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28 in The Old School House Arts Centre, tickets are $15.00 or $50.00 for a table of 4.
